 Are the bunnies handled a lot?

-yes, the bunnies are handled a lot by the breeders and children of different ages. However just like any other animal they take time to adjust when you bring them home.

Are the bunnies around other animals?

- yes, they are around other animals. They are around 2 cats and 3 big dogs. They do awesome around them. They are used to barking, loud kids and even the vacuum.

What do the bunnies eat?

- Lots and lots of hay! We also feed our bunnies MannaPro premium complete feed or Oxbow Young Rabbit food. You can also give them plain rolled oats. They can also have veggies and fruit however we recommend that they do not eat that until about 6 months of age.

Do they require a lot of maintenance?

- No, you do not need to bathe them. They groom themselves. If they get poop on their feet, you can wash them however it is not recommended to fully bathe them. They do need to be brushed often to prevent them from getting hairballs, their stomachs cannot handle it.

Can you walk them on leashes?

- Yes, they can be taught to walk on a bunny leash. It does take time to get used to it. I will say they don’t necessarily like getting the harness on, but once they get outside, they love it. The bunny leashes can be purchased off of amazon.

Are they litterbox trained?

- They can be litterbox trained! When the leave they farm, they are partially trained to use the litterbox. They do better once they are on their own without their brothers and sisters.

Can you get more than one bunny?

- Yes, you sure can! We do recommend that you get them fixed. Bunnies do not care if they are brother and sister they will mate. Even if you get 2 males or even 2 females, we still recommend that they get fixed. Due to hormones, they may fight.

Can they be inside/outside pets?

- They can be both! If they are outside just make sure they have a rabbit house, so they have shelter. Make sure it is not too cold or too hot out.
